You aren't saying that the graphlink software now supports parallel cables right?  I haven't heard of a black cable, but I have built my own parallel cable.  Was gonna go out and buy a graph link just so I could use it to send roms back and forth.

Try installing the new graphlink software. You'll have to take note that it
has the option for the black cable. (Parallel) Since Ti doesn't make them
It's makes common sense that it's a graphlink cable even if not by trademark
