I was under the impression that it isn't a limitation at all but, rather, an unwanted side-effect of something that works well on HW 2.00. It's still not cool for those of us who bought 89's a year ago. It would probably be easiest just to disable the memory reallocation and get back what we used to have. Just putting in my two cents.
