No -- an ADDRESS ERROR occurs when you call an odd address.  What you were
doing was jumping to an incorrect address, which was running data in the
form $Axxx -- the address was wrong, but the crash was NOT caused by an
address error.  You're using the wrong term

Greyscale on AMS v2.01 shouldn't be a problem at all with HWv1.  It actually
shouldn't need any modifications.
