as intiresting a game as starfox is it is really not to hard to 
implement.(comparitively speaking to what one might think)
a starfeild animater which has been done and a very simple big block 
polygon engine and you got it.  sure the graphics might not be quite as 
sharp but my advice: go for it.
change few things and show up NOA
they cant claim every 3d shoot em up space game can they?
so i wouldnt worry about it.
just to be sure change a few things and then forget it.
