The checksum error has nothing to do with batteries.  The checksum is information in the file that
tells the GL software and the calculator how long the file is, and what it contains.  If the GL
software did not give you this error, but still sent the program to your calculator, then it would
halt because the processor would detect a checksum error.  Then the only way to get your calc back
is to 2ND-left-right-ON it, and let it reboot.
