That would seem like the only way to charge people for a program: sell
copies that will only work for specific serial numbers.  Would it be easy
to make a batch file that would prompt for a serial number, store that
into the program to be "locked" and then compile it?  I have no intention
of doing this, hell, I am still learning 68k, but the concept is
interesting.
