Actually, in my experience, games can very much distract kids while they're
actually trying to get their work done ;)
And in all reality, games are sort of an insult to the calculator.  Sure,
games 'calculate' things, but that's not really the term meant by
calculator.  And just becuase something doesn't urinate on math doesn't mean
it's good.  Don't get me wrong, I love my games.  But I see nothing wrong
with the development of this software.  After all, like all calculator
programs, they're free and not required for you to use.  Many of them are
developed for the sole purpose of their writer becoming a better programmer.
