what do you mean by 'greyscale pics' (i think you meant 'grayscale')? if
you check out the guide's grayscale section
(http://guide.ticalc.org/advanced/gray.htm) you'll notice it referse you
to a collection of grayscale files in the download section
(http://guide.ticalc.org/download/grayscale.zip). when you unzip this,
you'll get another zip file contained: 86gray4.zip.

in the 86gray4 zip, you'll find how to make a program that uses 'ldir' to
load the two video planes and then use direct key access to ports
allowing it to manually swap the planes back and forth to give the
blurred picture effectively looking gray.  when [exit] is pressed, the
program exits.

check it out. if you find any errors on the guide's grayscale section,
