how about you tinker with it? that's how you learn things. if i remember
correctly, that program is executed any time the homescreen is redrawn from
the textshadow. or it may be whenever the homescreen is written to, redrawn
or not. dunno. but scabby wrote an auto-contrast setter a while ago using
[sqrt]home.
