It locks the calc (quite obvious--the run indicator halts and nothing
responds), but merely removing a AAA and putting it back in (without
touching ON or anything else) brings the calculator back up with memory and
everything else just fine.  I'd expect it to be a hard crash (i.e. lithium
removal).
