Um, I don't think you're getting the point here... There's a certain
contrast level most people like so that they can see it. What I meant is, if
you can set it so you can see it _very clearly_, it'll be fine. In plain
words, put new batteries in it and set the contrast level to what you would
to use the calculator in general circumstances. It's rare for that value to
be less than 3 unless you got some good batteries. I'm only using contrast
level as a (somewhat inappropriate) way to measure battery level anyway =P
