RAM is stored in SIMMS (single inline memory modules) or DIMMS (dual " " ")
A hard drive is a storage device and is permanent whereas RAM is not.  You
can use a computer without a hard drive -- My old Tandy 1000 RLX had only a
floppy. However, the practicality of this setup in a modern computer is
pretty low.

Back to calculator-land, I was wondering if anyone knows if its safe to do
ld (somememoryloc),sp at the beginning of a prog and at the end, ld
sp,(somememoryloc)? I've seen it used, but is it dangerous to do?
