A86: Pokemon




Um, why not use strings for data storage. I mean, data as in numeric data,
such as initial hp, the formula which the hp mp or other things increase,
and other things. Use a compressed file to store the pics, but remember, the
pics have no animation, or atleasts don't need animation, so only several
pics are needed (for monsters). As for the over world and actual playable
moving parts of the gb game, i say make it simple, cuz theres not enough
room. Maybe if everyone got that expander thing... hehe...

Oh, if someone remembers... i wanted to make a pokemon game back in the
summer when i first joined the list, but i dumped the project due to my
"can't learn asm for beans" syndrome. Anyway, i hope someone (or some group)
can pull this off, even if the game is limited to several monsters. We need
quality, not quantity. If less monsters are needed, why not code something
that allows the monsters to develope differently according to the player
preferences in training the creature?

That meeting is tonight correct?
