Thanks to all for pointing me to Cal.  This is the only software I've
found so far that works with my $4 Link.  I tried wtranx and it didn't
work.  If the developer is here, I'd like to confirm that the report
about COM3 getting addressed as COM2 is true for my system as well.  The
standard address for COM1 is 0x03f8 and for COM2 0x02f8.
