A86: ticalc and ti-files

Is there something im missing with all this hostility between ti-files and
ticalc? it happens on irc all the time too. did somebody kill somebody's
brother, or rape somebody's sister? i think ticalc gets files faster, but i
really like the way ti-files puts the little "new" and "updated" graphic
next to, well, new and updated stuff. i actually have to think if im on
ticalc looking to see if there is any new stuff. and ticalc only puts
updates on the really big stuff, like teh last one (about 20 minutes ago i
checked) was the "2000 files" one. so i cant tell if there is anything
really new in the ti-86 archives (what i really care about), without having
to go all the way there. but on ti-files, there it is, right in front,
whether there is new stuff in the 86 archives. so i dont have to click on 3
links just to see. as you can see, there are good and bad things about both
sites, and if there is some reason i should only look at one site; or why
people who just happen to like one are flaming members of the other, i would
like to know it.

Some people think Life Sucks, then You Die. I disagree. Life sucks, then
you get cancer. Then you go into chemotherapy. You lose all your hair, you
feel bad about yourself. Then all of a sudden the cancer goes into
remission. You look good, you feel good, you're going great, and all of a
sudden you have a stroke. You can't move your right side. And one day you
step off the curb at 68th by Lincoln Center and BANG, you get hit by a bus.
And then--maybe--you die.
