make sure you unscrewed all of the screws and then use the battery case
to pry open the case.  trust me it is scary when you hear the snaps for
the first time, and it may seem like the case would break if you continue
to pull the back off, but it won't.  the first time i took my case off it
took me awhile to realize this and i just slid the screwdriver (don't use
a screwdriver, i learned this the hard way) back and forth, loosening it
a little bit, then it popped off
