The only kind of bank switching I've encountered involves telling
the chip doing the switching to make the switch either with an out
or a write to a memory mapped port.  Neither of these seems to be
going on here.


I wonder if this could be something weird like when the pc points
to a ram address and rom is accessed, it knows to switch to a certain
bank.  This seems improbable but nothing else makes much sense.
Unless I've made a mistake somewhere and overlooked it, or TI has
in it's docs.
