I'm not sure if there is  room or not?  It should be thin except for the
required circuitry.  A friend of mine used to work for TImex and he
showed me that stuff in action.  Lit up the whole room with that one
piece!
I know, just buy 20 watches and hack them to death to get the stuff.  Or
better yet, buy the Timex Alarm clock with the bigger piece and use
that.
