let me put this another way. In Standard ASCII(which the ti-92 has) the
ENTER key in the character set has a value of $D(i think) but on the
TI-85 the value for the ENTER key in the character set is $D6 so you
wouldn't be able to enter any modem commands in no matter how hard or
often you pressed the enter key.
