This might be an option. It's a little silly, though.

No. This is too much and would be too complex.

This would be great if it could happen, but I don't think keypresses can be
passed on to ZShell this way. At the very least programs would have to be
made compatible. Comments from programmers and Magnus?

Hmmm...a small preferences screen might be fine as long as it doesn't take
too much memory.

Heh. I don't think so. You know, I'm really glad that the people in
ultimate charge of what goes into ZShell are able to exercise a little
restraint. I commend Magnus for keeping ZShell small (1,206 bytes) and
efficient. As far as I'm concerned, once he adds auto power off, contrast
changing, and a few other things (library support and so on) ZShell really
can't get much more practical and useful.
