[A83] Re: TI83 CAS

Well I believe it is possible for a CAS on the 83...look at the Simulatneous
Polynomial Solver they created...that would be (excuse my language) bitchin'
if it was done as a Flash APP. It is possible to do this stuff, but I don't
know much about Assembly and how fast the program would be, but who cares
how fast it runs (hopefully it runs fast enough to get a result...haha :)
because having a CAS on the TI83 would help some people who can't afford to
go out and get a TI89, and since most teachers (around here anyways) only
allows 83's...man...seriously...

Subject: [A83] TI83 CAS

I don't know if anyone has considered this idea at all, or even if it's
possible, but does anybody think it would be possible to write a kind of
computer algebra system for the TI83 calculator? Even if it's things like
differentiation or binomial expansion type stuff. Me and a friend of mine
are trying to do write a derivative/antiderivative program in basic, but
it's waaaay to slow to be practical. Anybody got any ideas? Anybody think
it's possible in 27k?
