There were (/are) 2 popular Wins after Win 98 SE: Win Me (wich is the real sequal) and Win 2000 (wich is the sequal of NT). I know you already knew this, but if you're used to Win 2000 then you need to buy XP Professional Edition and not XP Home Edition. Because when you do this, you take the sequal of Win Me. Perhaps you've bought the wrong edition.(I bet you knew this too)
