[A83] Re: How to get full screen blue

>From experience with contrast and the wonderful blue lines of doom (unless
someone's got a better name), I can say that there is quite a distinct
difference between turning the contrast up all the way and the BLOD's. When
you turn the contrast up all the way, you get a dark navy blue/purplish
color. The BLOD's are a bright cyan color that's quite distinguishable from
high contrast.

And you'll notice some odd things about the BLOD's as well. For example,
they can only be full horizontal lines across the screen (not much for
games, eh?). Also, even when power is cut, they pixels fade slowly,
starting from the center and moving out. It's probably this odd diffusion
(or maybe it's just the really weird color) that makes people think that the
BLOD's are bad for your LCD screen. I have, in fact, no idea whether or not
they do any damage, but if they do, I sure haven't noticed any.

I think the subject's more or less beaten to death,
