[A83] Re: Some Tilemap Questions




Crashman wrote a cool 1 pixel at a time scrolling tilemap routine.  Only 
problem is that it's incompatible with every other graphics routine, since 
it uses its own special graph buffer. (IGNORE that it says TI82 on it.)

Also, only 12x8 tiles can fit on the screen at a time :)

Clipping means that the sprite isn't drawn over the edge of a screen.  It's 
clipped at the edges instead.  Drawing unclipped sprites at the right edge 
makes the rest of the sprite appear at the left edge, drawing unclipped 
sprites off the top or bottom edges of the graph buffer crashes.  But 
unclipped sprite routines are faster, but clipped routines are safer.
