you just happened to call one of those wierd places in the rom that
apparently handles user input for stuff like the home screen or the
"input/prompt" function in basic.  sometimes that happens... it might be
worth looking into, tho... if you could map that area of the rom theres
always a chance that you could find the entire routine for input which
could be very useful.
