Re: A83: Poll

TxtView uses an end of file marker so you can't scroll past that point in the file. Is that what you meant?
I'm going to try to make a small status bar at the bottom of the screen. It's kind of hard though, cuz I've only got 4
pixels to spare. It would probably only say the current row and column number.
A Search function I will do. Search and replace I may add later. Anything else?

I like vim, or when I'm in AmigaOS, ced. One thing I think is important in an
editor is that you get ultimate control over the text file; if you want a
line to end with three spaces, then you should be able to. The spaces mustn't
go away when you press enter. (They do in some editors.) Then, an end-of-file
marker is pretty useful too.

And you'll need search, possibly search-and-replace, and some way of getting
to know where you are in the file. That could be a special keypress, e.g.
pressing Y= would change the status line to "<filename> <line>/<numlines>
<byte>/<numbytes> <percentage>" (or some abbreviated form of that).
