First, Al Gore is a dumbass. He has a habit of sticking his foot in his
mouth, and the quote that got him credit/blame for inventing the internet was
one of his bigger misspeaks. At different times, his horrible grammer
presented him as a basketball player, the president (rather than vice
president), the inventor of the internet, and once he also said, "Welcome,
Mr. President, Mrs. Bush, and my other fellow astronauts." (although a number
of astronauts were present, the First Lady was not. And NO Al Gore was NOT an
astronaut to the best of my knowledge) So anything he says has to be taken
with a grain of salt.
Second, a good attack on a website is hard to trace, and even the people who
DID invent the internet (either in its origional form, or how it exists now)
would be hard pressed to even agree on where to start looking.
