If you want a reference for the ROM calls, look in the developer's guide for
the 83+. Most/all of them will be identical on the 83 and on the 86. When
we were going to do 83+ Central, a few of us (mostly Matt) typed most of the
ROM calls into a database from the developer's guide. If that database is
still around anywhere, I'll put it up somewhere and post a link.
