Well, most computers today have two 9-pin serial ports.  So if thats what
you have, obviously you'd need the 9-pin to 25-pin adapter to use the link.

However if you have one 9-pin and one 25-pin serial port, then why not just
put the modem on com1 and the graph-link on com2?

Anyway you look at it, as long as you have a ps/2 mouse, you should be able
to make it work.
