its a "PC based squish"
thus you *can* send a 27k asm file stored in binary.
 
the reduction in size is exactly 2:1, because non-squished programs are stored in hex... which when inputted through ascii characters = 2 bytes

Devpac is similar to squish....it compresses the 83p file, usually at
around 2:1 compression, maybe a little less.  Devpac83 comes with
Ashell, and it includes more info on how to use it.
