What is this you speak of?? I think the Mac's PRAM is superior to the PCs BIOS.
Yes you can get around the Password but at least it will keep people without a
screwdriver out of your system (sometimes...)

I don't have any password protection on my Hard Drive, what protection software
do you use? (of course there is always the
encrypt-the-files--and-put-them-on-a-disk-and-bury-it-somewhere-safe routine!
