They would have to have blocked off pilot.msu.edu completely in order to do
that.  Go to the ingham login LCS uses (sure it's slow, but it gets the
comments across :)  There's a different set of IP's for the various local
networks.

Other options:  Have you tried a proxy host server (I think BigFoot.com
does this) to hide your originating IP?  How about IP hopping from your ISP
to a host Linux box to ticalc.org?
