A82: Re: Ash, or will it be CrASH ??

(It will probably also support the extra functions included in Crash, and
be able to recognize crash programs)

I am also planning to include a special version of ROM_CALL which can be
used with VAR functions. This means that it will be possible to acces the
VAT and create/delete/resize programs (it will might be a bit complicated,
but it will be possible). Programs like Game Wizard can now just check if
a program is relocated when it is used and unrelocate it if it is needed
(and even relocate it self!)

(Because of memory layout of the TI82 changing the VAT within a program
can cause a lot of problems, but this can be avoided if you are aware of
it.)

Since I do not know when Crash 2.0 will be released, I can not say which
shell will come first, but my guess is that Ash 3.1 will be the first
where you can use the VAT. When Ash 4.0 will be relased I am not sure, but
it should not take very long to make it after Ash 3.1 is done.
