is everyone dead? perhaps the mailer is down (stupid thing to say)

anyway here's some questions that i'd like answered (please)

1.  is the keypad on the 82 wired similarly to the 85? i need to know
that for the OTH_ARROW function used in usgard...

2. i know what UNPACK_HL does, but what about UNPACK_HL+2? just a brief
description would be nice.

3. the rom call (just call, actually) "READ_KEYPAD" (or similar) on the
85.... is it the same as the key handler on the 82, or is there a routine
in the 82 rom that mimics this? it'd save some space in various 85->82
progs if i knew this.

thanx in advance.... oh, yeah.... "PlainJump" is easier to convert than
it seems (maybe)... there isn't any engine, just a line index... easy
enough to change, right?  i have to see if the ball detection mechanism
works based on that table too.
