Cos 2000 |
Any other questions should be sent to: binky@dragg.net
First Time Setup:
When you first run Shermco Studio, it will bring up a dialog box. This will basically set up variables for Shermco Studio into the registry and win.ini file.
Creating a New File:
Click on File, New, then New Project. Click on Standard. You cannot create Cos 2000 programs nor can you download it yet. Then type in the name of the program, project name, comments, and the type of calculator.
Opening a File:
Click on File, Open File. You can only open up *.sff (Shermco Studio Files) now.
Saving a File:
Click on Save File from the File menu. You can only save *.sff files for right now.
Compile:
This will format your program so it will be readable from other programs. It will also create a document for you for your program. On your last step while compiling, it will ask you to open up your file. Then it will ask you to save your file as a text file. This is to be able to open it up from another program.
Tasks Menu:
Are you getting lost in your tasks? This will keep track of them and make sure you don't get lost.
Project Explorer:
This will keep track of any current projects that you may be working on. This is useful if you are making more than one program, and you want to keep track of them.
Options:
General: This only has one option to change, and that is 'Show Tips At Startup'. It's self explanitory.
Compiler: Compile Options will change what type of questions will be asked during compile, and will change what type of font will be used in the compile.
Setup: This is if you want to redo the 'First Time Setup'. This just recreates all Registry values and resets defults.
Cos 2000:
Hopefully when Cos 2000 becomes released, you can be able to make programs with this in complete GUI. More information when it becomes available.
