OK, I'll add one.

I just voted. Why try to predict the winner?

Gah.. I'm the only one that's voted 4 so far. I voted 4 because I predicted the 82(really hard), 83/84+ series, the 68k series, and the PC program, but I didn't even try to predict the 86 because I can't use the programs.

(I would have voted Seklorean Warrior Shell though...)

Well, as I predicted, Acelgoyobis beat all the other 83+ programs by far (except Desolate) and BasicBuilder came in first in PC software, but I thought it was sure that Seklorean Warrior Shell was going to win the 85/86 POTY! (Although I think BBTD deserves it more) At this point, I'm just happy that my System Hacker came in second.

0; I didn't think that a such *new* program would win the 68k category.

You might think so, but its the newer programs that stick in their minds. Plenty of people were still newly fascinated with Bomerdude, whereas they might not be playing Excitebike anymore... Regardless, I predicted Bomberdude correctly, but didnt attempt any of the others, because I really had never tried any of them. Actually, now that I think about it, I never tried any of these programs just about, I havent played games on my calc in ages...

How did so many people get 0? How could people possibly have predicted incorrectly on the 82 one?

I got 3/5 since I expected people not to judge by screenshots and know that although CalcRogue has bad graphics, it's still the best game ever. That and Qs Moka should've beaten Basicbuilder. Too many 83+ users here. Eek.

Maybe so that there are alternate languages one could write in if they are bored or something :)
(I don't own a 68k calc, BTW)

I'm not such a java fan, I have to write in it for CS though.
