Bobby Carrot Released
Posted by Ryan on 6 July 2011, 16:23 GMT

Yesterday, Chockosta released the final and complete version of Bobby Carrot for the TI-Nspire series. Bobby Carrot is a Lua-developed puzzle game in the vein of Chip's Challenge and requires some delicate planning in order to maneuver through and manipulate the world in such a way as to allow for the collection of all carrots on the map. Featuring 50 levels, color and lovely greyscale, and a level editor (included in the earlier TI-BANK release here), this Lua game should definitely not be missed. Check out a video of Bobby Carrot in action, both in color and an earlier version in greyscale.

Not being one to leave it at that, Chockosta has also released Snake, a version of the popular Nibbles game, as well as Alien Invaders, a Space Invaders clone. Hats should come off to Chockosta for his efforts in expanding the Lua catalog for the TI-Nspire platform in such an outstanding manner.

Is the source code available somewhere? I'd like to learn Lua by studying excellent programs such as this one.
