Hangman: Now with 1 player mode!
Now my hangman has a one player mode that chooses from a list of 150 words. The same controls apply as my original version and the 2 player option is still there, but now you can play on your own if you so choose. There is a memory error that sometimes occurs, so I am still leaving my original on this site as an option. NOTE: you can play it from Mirage when archived, but the HLIST program must remain in the RAM. |

HANGMAN X83
Hangman X83 is certainly a game that blows away the competition. To start off it has great graphics, tied in with a perfect horizontal screen setup which enables easy gameplay. Its features include: 1 and 2 player mode, over 220 words for 1 player mode, a maximum of of 44 chars, low memory requirements, and graphical menus. One of the special things about this clone, is that on the Outer Limit Software site it tells users in detail how to create their own word lists for others to play with. Just like the game show Lingo from GSN, you try to solve a mystery five letter word puzzle by guessing your own five letter word. If any of your letters are in the correct space, a square will surround it. If any of your letters are IN the word but NOT in the right space, a circle will surround it. In one player mode, you must correctly solve five puzzles in a row (a word will be picked at random from the list of 100 words that comes with the game). In two player mode, each player enters their OWN secret word which the other player has to guess. Points are rewarded according to how quickly you solve the puzzle. The first player to reach 10 points wins!! |
