I am making a game in 86 basic that will be like gladiators but have lots and lots of graphics. Evem thought the final product will probally be around 15 K it will be well worth the space. The intro will be amazingly good with graphical animation. There is currently about 40 people to fight and you can chose from 7 characters. I ASSURE YOU THIS WILL BE A GREAT GAME.

With a game that size, wouldn't it take some time to boot up the game. You might consider programming it in asm if u know it for the speed. Oh yeah, just a related question:Is there a program out there that converts TI-BASIC to assembly or somehow speed up the program reading?

It doesn't work. It gets to a 'converting variables' stage and enters an infinite loop. It migh get finished one day, though.

Two things. First, it wouldn't have to tokenize (that's the thingy that happens right after you edit a BASIC program and you have to wait for people who don't know) the game if it is already pretokenized. Second, there is a program that does convert but it's only for 83 and 83plus and it makes the program even bigger than it already is.

I am working on an RPG in TI-86 assembly inspired by the Magic: The Gathering TCG game. It should be a great game once I get it finished, but I need help with the savegame features. The first version I release, version 1.0, will be text-based. Version 2.0, which I will release after I work on it more will be a graphical version with sprites and everything. If anyone wants to offer any help with the game, email me at volrath47@yahoo.com
