I working on a game for the TI83+. It's a simple basketball game to play. I'm not done yet but i should be in the next 2-4 weeks. There are 3 different levels
3-point, freethrow and slam dunk. Oh! I'm new to this. I made the game during math class so give me some credit!!

Don't worry bout the credit, I always end up doing programs in class or maybe at home if it deals with really complex stuff. I'm sure the game will be fine, but do the best you can on it.

Yes, I am coming up with a new game. I'm doing a port of an older game I uploaded called tomb for the 82. I am redoing it with better animation and recreating the rooms, plus adding more of them.

Uploading? Just zip the file and use the form on-site. And I'll be sure to send you a copy once I'm done with the game.

No.......you don't.......but you have one person who will say:

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

you won't even be able to do the first area.......the memory is too small, and you wouldn't have a prayer.....

Now, if you'd try to make it a little different (no Action Battles)......that might be possible to do parts.......

I am going to post one of my first games made in basic. this game I finished about 6 months ago and have just finaly had the time to post it on this website. its called FANTASY and i will only release the first version for now. it has a few spelling errors that i am just to lazy to fix at the moment and they will be fixed in upcomming versions. this game is all text so it does not take up any more memery than it already does (11636 ram).in the game you get to pick the type of character you want to be. there are three FIGHTER THIEF and MAGE. each one gets different weapons and armor but all have the ability to beat the game. to beat the game you must find a way to get to the castle and defeat your enemy DRAGON MASTER. this is a pretty boring game after a while and takes up much ram for a basic game. this game only took me 3 days to complete so i dont care about any critisysm any one might have twards the game but please dont e-mail me with critisysm for this is not my e-mail adress it is my mothers.

My advice: Get off your lazy but and fix the errors before upload. No one likes crap. Welcome to the gaming biz (so to speak). If you upload crap, expect criticism. If you upload a better version, the criticism will decrease and it will be better.

What we really need is a compiler. That would bridge the gap between ASM and BASIC games, and provide us with a lot of better, faster games for the 83+

I think that the 83+ has a built in compiler, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make it work.

yeah, it's got a built in compiler, but guess what language you gotta program in? It says in ASCII. read the book, as I did my fair share, and it says sure as hell, ASCII. Which is one damn language I don't know or care to waste my time learnin' right now 'cause I'm way too busy. The compiler just doesn't do basic, it's stupid that way. TI could have made the TI-83+ a heck of a lot better as far as I'm concerned. I'm gone back to my TI-89 because of it's way more than inhanced capabilities.

I know. Hmm, ascII, thats hex code isn't it? Well, If I can get the program to run, then why not simply find a way to do assembly from notepad, port it over and do halfbreeds or assembly progs without mirage or ion?

Sure, no problem. I trust the tips were satisfactory? If not, then I'll be happy to write a bigger list. I didn't have a lot of time when I wrote the E-Mail.
