Chip's Challenge
Nick Lewis  Account Info

I have finished the beta (in basic) version of Chip's Challenge. BTW, for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it is a Microsoft (ugh!) game originally made for the windows entertainment pack. Me and my friend have started the ASM version. It will be available for the 85 first, but then we will port it to ION. The ION version will be finished in two months, depending on homework and the weather in Sweden. If anyone can offer some help with graphics (32*32 game board 9*9 visible board 6*6 pixels per grid sqaure), I would be very grateful.

Upcoming TI-83 Plus Game
joe Roggero  Account Info

I am currently wroking on a Russian Roulette Game. It will allow up to 4 players to play, the game will be able to choose who goes, you will be able to select the number of bullets you put in the gun, and It will not choose a player that has already been killed. The drawback to this program is so far it has taken up alot of room and I am not even close to done. I hope to have it done before christmas. So I will upload it as soon as I am done building it.

I am making some games and i am going would to have some pics on it.

Topic: "Star Trek" I would like to have good pics on it. One for each series. It can have some animation but it must be in basic codes.

Artist chosen will have their names in program and the four people that will have their pictures on one of the programs and will get the animated series.

Requirments: pictures of one of the Star Trek starships etheir the Enterprise from the Origanal series, Enterprise-D from The Next Genertaion, Voyager from Star Trek "Voyager", or the space station Deep Space Nine from Star "Trek Deep Space 9".

The size of pic's are to be 94 high, 64 wide, so it can fit on a TI-83+ screen

There is a way to make the original pics store as monochrome on the calc but it is a fairly long tedious process.
If you really want these pics then I will send the best ones as attachments to your e-mail

hi Eddie,

I beat you to it, I have finished a version which will be posted in a couple of weeks. But I am only doing one version, not the four you are working on, and mine is based on the old line printer game, so it's probably quite different. Good Luck, I'll be keen to see how your version turn out.

I'm coming out with a purty cool game, but I need help with TI-83+ BASIC and the manual is no help, either is any reference online, so if anyone can help me with my movement problem, e-mail me. Oh yeah, I'm trying to include mulitplayer and have a cool idea for it, but I'm not sure it will work.

Re: Upcoming TI-83 Plus Games: Prize Fighter
squtza

I'm working on a game called Prize Fighter. I'm sorry, but it's going to be in TI-Basic. As such, it will be text-based, possibly with a few pictures thrown in. The game will be a boxing game, where you choose your moves from a menu. Each move will have a different probability of working, and there will be one move that you can only use once, either a really powerful move or a low blow. The game will be able to tell if you have run it before. If it is the first time you have run the game, it will set itself up to be run. You will also be able to save and load games. If you have any feedback, post it here or e-mail me at: squtza@bigfoot.com

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention:
I'm done with everything in the game except for the actual game part of it; I know what variables I'm going to use, I've put in the save/load game features, healing, look-at-your-stats, and stuff like that.

Okay, I read a comment insulting text-based games on this page, so I am going to do something about it: I'll release a graphics version of the game too. You can decide which one is better.

You've probably released the game already, but text-based, BASIC RPG's don't really get much fame unless they have a break-through feature, and run incredibly fast.

Text based games are only good when they are RPG format, therefore why would someone download this boxing game instead of punchout for ion?
