What kind of privacy is offered to me if I choose to sign up?

If you sign up for an account, you are offered complete secrecy. The staff at ticalc.org will never sell any of your personal information. There is an option when you sign up for your account, and is also located in your Account Preferences, which lets you hide your personal information from all viewers. The only limited privacy you will find is the inability to not display your email address on your author profile if you choose to upload programs to the ticalc.org archive. However, you are given the ability to change your name on your author profile.
