Is there a chance that a file I downloaded from ticalc.org contained a virus?

No. There is no chance that any files you download from ticalc.org that are serviced from ticalc.org contain a virus. We scan every file that enters our archives long before it is approved. There is a chance that a calculator program file contains a "virus" that could potentially harm your calculators files. If you ever come across a file like this, please report the file to filearchive@ticalc.org or fill out an inappropriate file form for that file through its fileinfo page.
