Hey, why did my post get listed twice? I KNOW I didn't click Post more than once, and it has never happened before. Hmm...

I like the speed, but the quality is lousy!!!!

I recently uploaded about 10 programs to ticalc.org using the upload form and they were added to the archives today. This is greay except that I uploaded screenshots with the programs and they were not added to the archives with the programs. I also included the screenshots in the zip files, but the person who archived the programs rezipped the file and didn't include the screenshots, only the program and the readme file. This may be because ticalc wants to save space on their server, or it could be an error on the person who archived them's part. I have emailed ticalc.org twice about it and haven't gotten a reply.

I don't rezip files, though the system might be setup to do it... anyway, what I wanted to say was that screenshots are approved _after_ the files have been added to the archives, so they can take up to a day to "catch up".

Also, people, PLEASE don't keep uploading the same screenshots over and over again when you upload an update to your file - if a screenshot has changed then just add that/those and tell the archiver (this is what the "comment to the archiver" field in the upload form is for. :)

We need a new survey.

Sorry, the url didn't work... ti added http:// at the beginning.
"I prefer pi" is a palindrome. So is "A man, a plan, a cat, a ham, a yak, a yam, a hat, a canal, panama!"
OK, on topic: I think the update speed is fine for the archives. I think ticalc needs a faster SURVEY update speed. :)
