Re: Which type of programs do you like most?

Since I know none of the staff is checking these I'm going to write something irrelevant to the question, but this site has been neglected since Nickd left, and I am very dissapointed in it's quality since that time.

I did notice that, I almost got excited about a new survey. That is, until I found that it was from February! Well, we need a new survey.

I don't know. But this might explain why I got an error saying this survey is closed.

I tried to vote for Math applications. And I got an error message saying voting for this survey is closed. Yet I was able to post this.

It's been almost a month.

I believe it's about time for a new survey. Everyone has had ample time to register their thoughts, now it's time to go to another topic.

Knight/Rocket's 8c.

36 days -- I think this is a new record!

It is, or it should be.
Knight/Rocket Account Info

Even if this isn't a record, and I believe it is, this survey should be retired. Everyone has had a chance to register thoughts, and besides, this didn't spark discussion like the infamous "What is your Gender?" poll. :~)

Knight/Rocket's 10c.

new survey idea: how long should surveys be open?

2 days
4 days < my vote
1 week
40 days <staff of ticalc.org's vote

(jk i know it's summer and the staff probably just doesnt care or don't have the time)

That's what people don't understand. I'm pretty sure that it's not that they don't care, it's just that they don't have the time. I recently stopped working on my TI-related site because I just don't have the time needed to work with it anymore. And it's not like we're paying for this service, either. Instead of complaining we should be glad that there's a site like this where we can submit programs and talk about TI calculators. It's these types of comments that make people quit.

And just to add more, you said you think a topic should last only 4 days. Could you think of a new one every 4 days? Plus, not many people would even get a chance to vote after only 4 days. I think 1-2 weeks is fine enough.

you're gay. if you don't check this site EVERY day then you shouldn't be allowed to vote in the polls. i can think of a new poll every 4 days easily.. they won't always be good polls... but at least it will add some variety: just what this site needs. if the site is changed every few days then more people will come just to see what the poll is and stuff... especially during the sumer when the archives aren't updated a lot... polls will be like "what did you eat for breakfast?" what time did you wake up this morning? stuff like that (just like themail.com and iwin.com do) iwin.com has a new poll every day... and it's always like "dinosaur or monster?" and iwin is one of the top sites ever. go to my

What makes you think Ben is so happy? I don't believe you should be allowed to vote, comment, download, program, speak or breed.

A NEW SURVEY IS ALL WE NEED!

like if Texas Instrument's calculators are known in your country/city.
1-a lot
2-yes
3-some people know about Texas
4-not very well known
5-no one have ever heard

or where do u live (I don't know if this hasn't already been surveyed)

Surveys make ticalc.org funnier and more interesting
