I have a 92+ and an 83. Since none of my teachers will let me use my 92+ on tests, I use my 83 on tests. I usually just do gaming and math homework on my 92+.

1 (x/x+1) cents!

I have a 92+ and an 83. Since my teachers WILL let me use my 92+ on tests, I use my 92+ on tests and give a friend my 83 that is secretly running a program than returns false answers. But I usually just do gaming and math homework on my 92+.

Six graphing calculators?!

My good old TI-83 is all I need. It has helped me survive Algebra 1, 2, and 3 and pre-calculus. Now I really put it to the test in calculus (yaaay...)

Geez you took 3 Algebra classes? Didn't you ever take Geometry. Normally, it's just Algebra I and II. But 3? How much Algebra can you learn?

Same with me. I thought 2 years of Algebra was bad enough. :)

Who in the world would want an 80, 81, and an 82? They're all bad enough compared to your other two. If I were you, I'd put at least the 80 and/or 81 on ebay.

I use my Casio EM-500 Pocket PC for gaming and taking notes and memos and address books and for 1337ness and what not.

My TI-89 is solely used for testing and debugging my own programs (a game i'm working on, at that). It's usually VTI, but occasionally (albeit rarely) do I actually use the calculator.

I play games on it every once in a while when I get really hopelessly bored. But for the most part I stay away, because my calculator reminds me of Pre-Cal too much. I'm so glad to be out of it. Math sucks sooooooo bad!

I use my 86 at work all the time. Otherwise I would fall asleep all the time.

I don't use my calculator every day, but I play games on it every once in a while. Who would use a calculator for math! :p

We have no life
FoxBoy

We have no life. 50% of us use a graphing every day. :)

I'm doing number theory on my own, searching for primes that are expressable similarly to mersenne numbers, but with different prime numbers as bases. I haven't played games on my 89 in days, and that was when school was still going. I also use my 89 as a pda, taking notes on it during the schoolyear and using it for storing lists of songs to download year-round, so it's not entirely for math. And of course I have quite a few games on there (typically games like tetris, quadra, squarez, and fliptile, tho).

Of course I do! It's not that I use my calc just at school. There's no day without math! Maybe just a little job, just like "48*6". And my TI-89 is more than a calc, it's a "Game Boy". Maze, Snake... math lessons become more interesting with it.
And on vacations it's also more interesting because it helps me not to bore if I'm on a long trip or something.

Is it that hard to do the following?
48*6 ~ 50*6=300
6*2[amount of error, as should be clear]=12
300-12=288
I just did that in about 15 seconds at 1:30 am, so you shouldn't have much trouble doing it either. If you do, you're part of the ever-growing whordes of induhviduals who are too reliant on technology. What would you do if an EM pulse weapon was tested in your area? You'd have no silicon to do your number crunching for you. You would have no calculators. No gameboys. No computers. Yes, I agree life would suck if that happened. But at least I'd be able to do basic math without a pound of silicon dioxide and copper.
Sorry if that sounded like a rant. *g*

I don't need to pull out my 86/89 for math like that; that's what watch calculators are for :) Unfortunately, mine is cracked, but it still works.
