The new version of WinDVD works under Windows 2000 (though you'll need a pretty beefy machine as it's a software decoder).

Sorry, but (being the nerd that I am), nerds are good and geeks are mediocore (not nessiarly bad).

Let's try the dictionary...

nerd: single-minded enthusiast; an enthusiast whose interest is regarded as too technical or scientific and who seems obsessively wrapped up in it (often used in combination; offensive in some contexts)

geek: obsessive computer user; somebody who enjoys or takes pride in using computers or other technology, often to what others consider an excessive degree

Fine, I concede. I'll be a geek or a nerd depending on which is the better definition in the person I'm talking to's dictionary.

Geek sound like someone with pants up to their ribs and all weirded out. Nerd sounds like someone with a brain. like mine :-)

nerd is an avid computer user. A geek is a clumsy nerd. And people with no life are ones that spend time discussing the difference between a nerd and a geek :-)
