But it has a jumping lag and it gets so annoying after a while.

I didn't notice much jumping lag in the latest version. I am glad he allowed multi keypresses for jumping at least in this version. I had an hard time choosin for which entry to vote this year. Finally I chosen TI-Boy SE

TI-Boy was brilliant. I can't believe I didn't realize that the 82+/84+ (SE) runs the same proccessor as GB. This was an excellent idea, and it opens up the games on calculators signifigantly more. Think about it - you can't have a GameBoy out in class, but you can have your calculator (which just so happens to do the same thing now.)

Too bad it doesn't run on half the calculators it's supposed to. :( I voted for Chip's Challenge - it's much more pleasing with graphics and speed and it works on the entire TI-83+ series. Plus, Chip's Challenge was always an awesome game. :D

I voted for Free83p.

It just is so cool to build your own OS...

I appreciate that, but no one should vote for Free83P as it's now completely obsolete since the key factorings and our publicized right to use said factors.

I like all of these programs and they all do something useful, interesting, etc. (That's why they've been nominated, right?)
*BBCBasic: brings a new programming language to the 83/84+(SE) calcs
*Chip's Challenge: ports the classic game in 8-level grayscale to your calculator
*Free83P: before the key-factoring, allowed the transfer of non-TI OSes
*IndestructoTank: a very good, addicting ASM game
*Shift: very good xLIB-enhanced BASIC clone of the online game (jumping lags, though)
*Tetris: (I think this is the BBCBasic one) Shows the possibilities of BBCBasic
*TI-Boy SE Alpha: Gameboy emulator? for a calculator? Only an alpha, but it shows great promise. (I, unfortunately, have "bad" hardware. But I can still see how great it is in an emulator!)

Mmh... Difficult choice. I picked TI-boy, because I think it was the biggest challenge for the author, but creating the others must have taken crazily long too...

Well, since it's an alpha, some games don't work. Also, there are some hardware issues on some calcs.

I have tried Links Awakening as well and have found out that Links awakening is too big. Metroid 2 however should work fine on the TI-84+. It works on mine.

Voted Shift because that was the one I was most interested in of the ones I remember discussing.

Voted shift, not only because I'm supporting my fellow omnimaga staff member (sorry calc84) but because it's really fun, and the jump lag didn't bother me that much. Also it's a port of shift, come on! It's shift!!!
Anyways that's my $0.02

Well technically Calc84 is also Omnimaga staff too. He just credits his games under Outside The Box Programming, kinda like how Builderboy credited Shift under Angel Productions.

Yeah I know, that's why I said "(sorry calc84)"
hmmm, I wonder if calc84 or Builderboy have credited omnimaga in any of their games? Or are we just in the readme?

I don't think Builderboy did, altough he might have linked to the forums, like Calc84maniac.

I voted for IndestructoTank because it's the funnest. TI-Boy is also pretty awesome, but it takes up way too much memory and the fact that the screen size is different than that of an actual gameboy is annoying.
