My school doesn't weight GPAs, 3.75-4.00 should be the highest category, no 4.00+.

That would merely result in all the people with greater than 4.0 complaining instead. :)

Well, those results are very predictable, since:
There is nothing impossible, to a man, if he is able to program his 83+

So... would he be able to NOT program his 83+?

I graduated with a shining 2.8 after 4 years of undergrad. Now, I have a measly 4.0 but it's only been 1 semester. :)

I guess having to ask what a GPA is puts me in the last catagory huh? heh heh?
Or at least an NA catagory for those not native to the US....... these darned interwebs have grown to other countries now too it seems :p

For those of you who don't have a GPA, if you have some sort of final grade out of 100%, divide it by 25 to get a GPA-style score. That's basically what a GPA is, except with possible weighting for some courses.

Weighting is evil.

Not quite. It's more like this:

90-100%: 4.0
80-89%: 3.0
70-79%: 2.0
60-69: 1.0
< 60%: 0.0

Of course some schools use plus-minus, where a + means that you have 0.3 added to your number and a - means that you have 0.3 subtracted form your number.

Yeah, same here. What year are you, by the way?

I still manage to use my V200 from time to time, mostly to convert lb/in figures to BMI. There's not a whole lot else that needs a calculator in medical school- at least not for those who came from an engineering background, that is. The biologists on the other hand... :D

I really wish that my school did weighted GPAs since I
would have higher than my unweighted 3.8 right now. Maybe I would have given the possible candidates for
valedictorian at my school a run for their money!
