Personally, I have an 83+ and an 89, so unless someone wants to slip me an 84+ Silver or a PLT-SHH1, I'm just fine with what I have.

i got a trashy ti82 i "found" and a ti83+ i also "found", but the ti89 i actually bought (hw1)... it's my favorite. Funny,,,i lost count how many times i've taken it apart to clean the grunge and dust off of every button individually :P

Some of the lettering on the 2nd key and enter key has worn off, and half of the +/- green contrast symbol has been gone for ages. The stubs where the lid locks into are totally worn and i put plastic epoxy there so their are bumps so the lid doesn't just fall off... yea an overly loved ti89... I'm starting to fear when the day will come that i'll have flash memory corruption, wish i had one of those new ti89's... the big silverly one with the big chunk of memory :P

My 89Ti is my true love, though I had an affair with a borrowed HP-48G for a few days.

hehe. The calculator belonged to a friend. I was learning how to use it so I could teach him. Trust me, I still love my 89, it doesn't take 1 minute to graph 'y=x^2' :)

No, in my opinion, the TI-83+SE is superior to any other calc, including the 68ks. Owning an 86 and 89T, I've come to love the 83+/84+s simple home screen, in addition to all the TI-BASIC hacks. It's my true love.

HW *4*? TI's only gotten up to 3.10, and I'm quoting their website here.

The new 89TIs are HW4 according to the 'about' screen. There was an article here on ticalc about it awhile ago.

Just to clarify, I do actually have an 89Titanium. The "Triconded" message was referring to ticalc.org adding post edit/delete.
